I love Etsy!

So I recently decided to join the Etsy community and I am loving it. Not only do I love to browse all the beautiful hand crafted items for sale but I just sold one of my wreaths too:) It put a smile on my face and I wanted to share my Etsy store site in case anyone stopping by wants to check it out:)

Life happens...

But here I am again. Life brings on some very difficult obstacles and when we face them we have to remember to smile because life goes on. For every reason we have to cry there must be 10 reasons we have to smile. Our good fortunes always outweigh the bad, but sometimes its hard to see that. So I have tried to remind myself of my own words and have continued doing what makes me happy and right now it includes wreath making! :)  Here are the most recent of my creations. 

I love the bow on this wreath! It's very traditional and will make any home shine every Christmas season. 

This next wreath is also traditional, however, it has a little more spunk to it with the glittered green ribbon and bow.

This next wreath reminds me of a winter wonderland with the beautiful white poinsettias and the snow covered pines cones.

I'm too antsy to sleep!

Although the clock is about to hit midnight I am not sleepy so I thought I'd come back to post pictures of the wreaths I have created these last couple of days.

I love the bow on this wreath! The hint of blue on the white is perfect with the white poinsettias. It definitely gives me a winter feeling and the desire to play in the snow!

Purple is my favorite color so naturally this wreath is one of my favorites. I think the pink looks absolutely beautiful with the purple ribbon and white flowers and just the perfect dash of gold:) 

I think this next wreath is very elegant. The deep red, or wine colored ribbon (whichever color you see it as) is beautiful! I fell in love with the ribbon when I saw it on the store shelf and I had to have it. And good thing I did because it added the perfect touch of color to this wreath. And just look at those poinsettias! Gorgeous! Sometimes I hesitate in using flowers I like as much as I like these poinsettias because I won't have them anymore, lol. But they do no one any good stored away in boxes so here they are on this wreath.

I finally did it!

Finally I got around to starting a blog. I've always wanted to but I never took the time to sit down and get started. So here I am with my blog and I'm thinking what would be the best way to begin...I guess there is no right or wrong way so here I go.

I am really excited about this blog and plan to post as often as possible or any time I have something to say...which is always. I am a talker. I love to chat, sing, dance, and right around this time of year I especially love to create and bake! I make crafts year round but during the holidays I definitely have more creative juices flowing through my head. And of course I enjoy sharing my creations with family and friends, which is precisely why I created this blog. With that said here is a picture of the wreath I made for our home this year. 

I love it! And I should, I made it...but really, I love it! Looking at it makes me want to eat...other than that it's perfect for our home this year. Our tree will also be candy cane and peppermint candy theme and you bet I'll post pictures as soon as we get a tree and decorate it. 

I have so many things I have made and baked and I want to post pictures of all of them all at once...but I won't, I'll be here all night! Ill do a few at a time and go from there. For now you saw our wreath and I'll also post a picture of myself in case you want to put a face to the blogger:) And if not, sorry...did I forget to mention I love taking pictures? I love to take them but I also love being in them:) So here I am...
